Prior to COVID travel between Samarkand Global's London and Shanghai offices was a regular occurrence for our teams. Now that regulations have eased and China is returning to normal it was with great pleasure that our CEO and COO made their first post COVID trip to Shanghai after almost 3.5 years.
Our CEO, David Hampstead, and COO, Simon Smiley, spent almost the full month of June in China. With a full schedule, they attended events, conducted meetings and spent time with Shanghai based colleagues. A highlight of the trip included KOL Tracey Chang's annual Pink Party in Beijing.
